The Collections feature original artworks with a distinctive composition and style. They are open as well, so new work is added as it is completed and remains available until a Collection has finished. New Collection Titles covering different themes and subject matter may also be published.
The original artworks are created using artist quality watercolour papers, canvas and media. The performance and endurance of these materials is exceptional. In particular, the vibrancy of the colour pigments is an important factor in bringing the composition to life. This quality can then be captured and expressed in the reproductions.
The Prints are produced in the studio from image capture of the original art to the finished Fine Art Print. The accurate reproduction of colour and detail is an important part of the process so the prints are visually as close as possible to the original. Printed with archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper, these Fine Art Prints are stunning.
Distinct and meaningful, the EM Signature Mark embodies the essence of Elena and Milada. Original artwork is signed with the EM mark and the Fine Art Prints also carry this signature so you can be sure it's a genuine reproduction of the original.
I worked extensively as a User Experience Specialist and Visual Designer for government initiatives and corporate projects from 1995 to 2011. In 2012, Milada was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and I was caring for her for the following four and a half years. My Mother's creativity and her tremendous spirit will be ever-present in the work that I do.
I have always been fascinated with colour and very much enjoy putting my ideas into a composition where the story evolves and comes to life as the work progresses.
